Connecting Research and the Industry in Year 1

Part of the A GIFT SEED mission is to educate growers, consumers, and other members of the field on research progress and steps taken towards reaching the A GIFT SEED objectives and goals as the project progresses.

Members of the team from several universities have already given several invited and selected talks, as well as poster presentations. Members of the A GIFT SEED team have been invited to share progress at meetings with boards of growers and leaders in the U.S. Christmas tree industry, university department meetings, workshops, breeding consortiums, conferences, and seminar series.

A total of forty-one presentations have been given by members of the A GIFT SEED team since the start of the project, with many more to come moving forward in 2026. See the list below for more information and details on talks and presentations given over the course of Year 1.
