Greensboro Grasshoppers Food & Beverage Intern

The Greensboro Grasshoppers, the High-A affiliate of the Pittsburgh Pirates, are looking to fill a Food & Beverage Intern position for the 2024 season. We are eager to find an energetic individual who will help in supervising our concessions at First National Bank Field.
Overall Responsibility: The intern primarily will report to the Director of Food & Beverage and will help in overseeing all aspects of concessions. The intern will also gain experience in operations, finance, and human resources.



Greensboro Grasshoppers Stadium Operations Trainee

The Greensboro Grasshoppers, the Class High-A affiliate of the Pittsburgh Pirates, are looking to fill a Stadium Operations Trainee position for the 2024 season. We are eager to find an energetic individual who will help in the supervision of the overall operation at First National Bank Field.The intern primarily will report to the Director of Stadium Operations and will help in overseeing all aspects of general operations. The trainee will also gain experience in other areas such as tickets, merchandising, sales, and promotions as needed.



2 Student Manager Positions/Internships – Men’s Soccer – NC State

NC State Men’s Soccer team currently has two open positions for Student Managers. These can be part-time jobs or internships depending on your needs. Outdoor Program Intern – Catawba Riverkeeper Foundation

The Outdoor Recreation Intern is responsible for public engagement with the Catawba Riverkeeper through the development and execution of outdoor recreation programming. In this role, the Outdoor Recreation Intern will assist the Recreation Team with development, execution and reporting of high quality and unique outdoor programming. An ideal candidate will be an individual that is passionate about the outdoors and enjoys interacting with others.



Summer Internship – Maiden Parks & Recreation

The Town of Maiden is seeking a Parks and Recreation part- time employee to assist the Recreation Programmer and Director in summer programs and activities. Work is performed under regular supervision along with independent work. Work is performed in many types of weather conditions, around youth and adult athletics and special event programs.



Summer Parks and Recreation Internship (Paid) – Mount Airy Parks & Recreation

The aim of this position is to immerse the candidate in various program areas within the Parks and Recreation Department and improve the services provided in the various components of our organization. The successful candidate will be required to work varying shifts including days, evenings, and weekends.



Intern, Marketing & Retail – Major League Baseball – Vero Beach, FL

The Intern, Marketing & Retail for the Jackie Robinson Training Complex (JRTC) assists with day-to-day marketing, communications, and retail operations, activities, and initiatives. These responsibilities include but are not limited to traditional media, social media, corporate partnerships, media relations, and community relations. The Intern, Marketing & Retail will also assist with day-to-day operations and responsibilities of the JRTC onsite gift shop and retail operations.



Social Media Intern (Summer Internship) – Premier Lacrosse League (Remote)

The PLL is seeking candidates to support the Premier Lacrosse League’s world-class content team. The role will work across a variety of tasks including content ideation, creation, caption writing, publishing, and community management. Hires will be full contributors and exist as members of PLL’s media team. Candidates must have an elevated understanding of social media trends, channels, and content formats. Proficiency in TikTok, Instagram, and Twitter are all required; channel-specific strengths will be viewed favorably.



Intern – Ticket Operations – Milwaukee Brewers

As part of Ticket Services Department, the Intern will The Ticket Operations Intern will support the Ticket Operations department by assisting with various operational and administrative duties throughout the office. This position will experience the daily functions of an MLB ticket operations department and support the ticket office management team in providing exceptional customer service as well as maximizing ticket sales and revenue opportunities. This internship will begin in February and go through June with the possibility of an extension.

Wolfpack Sports Properties Internship

Idaho Department Parks & Recreation Interpretive Internship Program

This position is an Interpretive Internship Program for students interested in becoming a park ranger or interpretive guide. The intern will work a 5-day, 40-hour work week, including weekends and holidays. The intern will work with park rangers to develop and present weekly interpretive/educational programs at Hells Gate State Park. They will be expected to work with visitor services staff in the Lewis & Clark Discovery Center, Jack O’Connor Hunting Heritage & Education Center, and throughout Hells Gate State Park. This position will also provide opportunities to practice roving interpretation in a state park setting.



Kansas City Chiefs – Training Camp Intern

Athletics Coordinator – Mooresville Parks & Recreation

Kansas City Sports Commission Internship Program
The Kansas City Sports Commission & WIN for KC offer spring, summer and fall internships to college students and recent graduates. Internship periods are based on school semester length and can be utilized for course credit.
Our internship program is full-time (M-F, 9am-5pm) with some nights and weekends depending on the event schedule. Our internship is unpaid; however, interns will have the opportunity to network with high-profile individuals and organizations within the Kansas City community and attend a variety of sports related activities and events, providing valuable, hands-on industry experience. Assistant Academic Coordinator (Intern 2024 – 2025 Academic Year) – NC State University
This position is a full-time internship intended to provide hands-on experience and prepare individuals to perform at a high level in full-time positions in academic support for student-athletes following the internship. The NC State Academic Support Program for Student-Athletes Internship Program has existed since 2005 and was recognized as the National Association of Academic and Student-Athlete Development Professionals (N4A) Model Practices Award winner in 2013.



Fan Experience & Marketing Assistant (Intern 2024-2025 Academic Year – NC State University

This 11 month full-time paid internship position will assist in all aspects of fan experience and marketing while promoting NC State University’s NCAA Division I 22-sport athletics program. The candidates will serve as the primary marketing contact for assigned sports and secondary contact for additional sports.
This position will be responsible for collaborating with all External Relations units to develop and execute an integrated external plan for assigned sports, manage the individual sports budgets; work with the Creative Services team on cohesive branding and creative for marketing materials; work with Creative Video and Pack Productions to create in-game and advertising video elements. This person will assist Sports Information Directors and the Social Media Strategist with implementing promotions on social networking sites including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and other applications as needed. This position will be responsible to lead the gameday presentation for assigned sports including live directing of the event. Additionally, they will be responsible for enhancing the overall fan experience through traditional and innovative in-venue entertainment strategies.

Associate Director of Programs – Recreational Sports & Fitness – Montana State University

The Associate Director of Programs will provide leadership and expertise in administering all recreation-based programmatic offerings. The Associate Director assists the Director with the programmatic, financial and personnel functions of the department. The Associate Director will be responsible for building and cultivating relationships with numerous campus constituents to help advance the mission of the university, the division, and the department. This position will create and implement training and retention strategies and professional development opportunities for all Campus Rec professional staff. The Associate Director will supervise classified staff, and report to the Director. The Associate Director will serve on the departmental leadership team and act as Director in the absence of Director.



Assistant Director of Fitness – UNC- Greensboro

The Assistant Director, Fitness is responsible for the overall design, management, and implementation of a comprehensive fitness program for the students, faculty, staff and UNC Greensboro community. This includes leadership of two professional positions and a graduate assistant as well as student employees. The incumbent is charged with providing the long term strategic vision and planning for the fitness program.



Coordinator of Athletic Training – East Carolina University

The Coordinator of Athletic Training will provide sports medicine coverage and care to the ECU student population with close attention to the 29 club sports. Responsibilities will include injury prevention, clinical evaluation, emergency care, treatment, rehabilitation, assistance with organization and administration of 2 athletic training rooms and professional development of the athletic training program area in Campus Recreation & Wellness. The Coordinator will report to the Sr. Coordinator of Athletic Training and oversee student employees. The Coordinator may maintain 4-8 regular weekly hours of sports medicine care at Student Health Services under the direction of the Medical Director of Student Services.

Opportunity for NC State Students to Work With The Savannah Bananas

The Savannah Bananas are playing at Durham Bulls Athletic Park in Durham on April 12th, 13th, and 14th! The Bananas have a mission to be Fans First and Entertain Always. We want YOU to be a part of spreading that mission to every fan in your city!! In the past we have found great success in hiring students that attend universities in the surrounding areas we are playing in. Shift opportunities:
Friday April 12th: Game Day 3pm-10:30pm
Saturday April 13th: Game Day 3pm-10:30pm
Sunday April 14th: Game Day 8am-5:30pm
We have found the best success with people that work all shifts. That way we all have a great rhythm going and you feel more and more confident as the games go on! Of course, if you can only join us for 1 or 2 shifts, that is okay! On game days you will either work merchandise or tickets. Working merch will involve set up/break down of stands and selling merch at stands. Each stand has a Stand Lead that will train and guide you every step of the way! There is also the option to be a Scanner Nanner (a ticket scanner in a banana costume). You must have an iPhone for this role. The best Scanner Nanner’s are enthusiastic and outgoing!

Associate Athletics Director for Compliance – NC State University

The Associate Athletics Director for Compliance will assist the Senior Associate Athletics Director for Compliance with the development and implementation of a comprehensive NCAA Division I athletics compliance program. Within the context of ensuring compliance with NCAA and ACC rules for all constituencies of the Athletics Department, this includes, but is not limited to: education, interpretations, monitoring, waivers, investigation and reporting of violations of NCAA and ACC rules, the development and implementation of policies and procedures that govern the compliance program; and the development of tools and systems to capture data/information to monitor/ensure compliance with NCAA and ACC rules.



Asst. Strength & Conditioning Coach – NC State University

Responsibilities for this position include but are not limited to: Design and implement a comprehensive strength and conditioning program as related to injury prevention and performance enhancement (strength development, speed development, power development, movement capacity development, etc.) for assigned sport programs; Chart and analyze student athlete progress from performance assessments, performance programs in order to evaluate effectiveness of training program; Maintain a safe (provide proper teachings of training techniques) and positive training environment for NC state student athletes; Enforce weight room rules and etiquette; Provide facility upkeep and maintenance.
