Have an interest in urban forestry? Please join us for our monthly ISTF chapter meeting featuring Vallari Sheel, PhD student in Forestry and Environmental Resources. Vallari will share her research in India’s urban forests. Bring a snack and be prepared for an interdisciplinary conversation on global forestry. We also will be finalizing plans to travel to Yale for their 26th annual ISTF conference.

ISTF Yale Conference

Each year, Yale’s International Society of Tropical Foresters hosts a conference on tropical forest management. This year’s theme is called “Restoration for What and for Whom? Shifting the Paradigm of Tropical Forest Management”. Our ISTF chapter at NC State will be traveling to the conference. If you are interested in attending/presenting, please let us know.
