North Carolina middle & high school STEM teachers! Interested in exploring sustainability based online educational content/activities for your classroom?
Join us on Wednesday, February 24 as Dr. Adam Scouse (NCSU’s Dept. of Forest Biomaterials) illustrates an at-home hands-on experiment and an online learning simulation that encourages student exploration of topics and careers related to the emerging bioeconomy. Sponsored by the Sustainable Biomaterials & Bioenergy Program, the goal of this event is to introduce NC STEM teachers to online educational resources available from NCSU and foster collaborative events that introduce students to scientists and careers in the bioeconomy.

- 10:15 AM – Make Your Own Sustainable Packing Peanuts at-home lab activity
- 10:45 AM – Labster Online Learning Simulation activity
- 11:15 AM – Q&A session
