T minus 5 days and counting

In 5 short days 43 of us will be in the air from Newark, NJ to Shanghai, China.  Exams are done as of today.  Graduation is this Saturday.  Monday we depart first thing in the morning to begin our adventures.  Stay tuned for updates, news posts, photos and facebook posts as often as we can manage.  We are so thankful for our donors and the companies hosting us; without YOU, this trip would not be possible.

Our itinerary includes:

May 15 – Leave RDU, fly through Newark, NJ to Shanghai
May 16 – Arrive in Shanghai, sight see a little bit, eat and get settled into our hotel
May 17 – Sightseeing in Shanghai and Dinner with executives of Stora Enso
May 18 – Voith Manufacturing in Kunshan; travel to Nanjing
May 19 – Gold East Paper Mill in Zhengjiang; YFY Mill in Yangzhou
May 20 – Gaoshun to visit release paper manufacturing; Old Town and alumni; then to Nanjing Forestry University for dinner
May 21 – Qufu, Confucius Temple, then head to Rizhao
May 22 – APRIL Pulp and Paper mill
May 23 – Qilu University
May 24 – Gaotang, Tralin Paper Company; high speed train to Beijing
May 25 – Beijing, Great Wall, City Gate
May 26 – Beijing, Temple of Heaven, Palace, Tiananmen Square
May 27 – Beijing to RDU
May 28 – Select group traveling to Xian to sight see and return on the 30th
