There are hundreds, if not thousands of publications, pamphlets, and books about prescribed fire. The list below is by no means exhaustive, but does include many highly regarded and widely used publications relevant to the Southeast. Your state forestry agency, wildlife agency, Cooperative Extension Service, or prescribed fire council may also have publications that include state-specific information. Most regional and national wildland fire agencies and organizations also have a publications page, some of which are included below.
